I have been shooting for years only with a index finger trigger release and wanted to try a thumb release to improve punching the trigger. I did a lot of research and ended up with this one as it is in the high end but not super high end ($200+) because I wasn't sure it wouldn't end up in a box unused. I am definitely sold on it and use it all the time now. It has helped my release technique and has made my trigger release shoot better too. I am now debating which I will use during the season. I am able to use both releases interchangeably and not adjust my bow at all which is a big plus.
